Fix Up Day
Baxter's 32nd Annual Fix Up Day was held Saturday, April 17. Thank you to the over 75 volunteers, Fix Up Day committee members, donors, and vendors who helped make this day a wonderful success.
Check back soon for pictures of the day!
In what ways could you/your organization help?
1. People.
Willing volunteers are the heart and soul of making Fix Up Day a success, and all are welcome. If you bring youth, please bring a 1 to 4 ratio of adults to students. Please call us in advance to let us know that you are coming so that we can plan accordingly for the post clean-up lunch.
2. Supplies.
We are always in need of cleaning supplies on Fix Up Day! If you would like to purchase supplies, please give us a call. Needs typically include: window spray, pails, cleaning cloths, brooms, dust pans, Murphy's Oil Soap, and sponges.
3. Dollars.
Every year we have unanticipated Fix Up Day costs. We also plan and provide lunch for our volunteers after the work is finished and the dust has settled. We greatly appreciate special donations to help underwrite the event.
4. Non-Perishable Food & Hygiene Items
Please bring an item for our Marketplace. We have special needs for low sodium, sodium free, sugar free, wheat, and whole grain items to help accommodate Marketplace shoppers with specific dietary needs and health concerns.
