Wholistic Health Care - Medical - Adult/Pediatric
Adult Medical Clinic
Adult clinic patients receive care for their physical well-being as well as instruction on various health-related topics. Clinic services include routine blood pressure screenings, diabetes testing and treatment, periodic eye and prayer clinics, and various support groups as needed.
Baxter’s Wholistic Health Clinic has limited enrollment for adults based on availability.
Pediatric Medical Clinic
The Pediatric Clinic provides well-child physicals and immunizations at low cost and teaches families the benefits of preventative care, routine checkups, and good nutrition.
The Wholistic Health Clinic partners with the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program to serve pregnant and postpartum women and children from birth to five years of age. WIC services include nutritional evaluation from a registered dietician, immunizations, and the provision of supplemental food coupons.
Baxter also has a growing partnership with the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, which recently opened a Healthy Weight Clinic and is currently constructing a new facility that will open in early 2011. The Wholistic Health Clinic and the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital share a commitment to improve and protect the health of Michigan’s youngest residents, focusing their efforts on key concerns, such as the rising problem of childhood obesity, as they emerge.
Baxter’s Wholistic Health Clinic has unlimited enrollment for children.
